Dear Future Client –
Thank you so much for considering me to be your family, senior, headshot or wedding photographer. Know that I am very grateful you stopped by to say hi! There are many talented photographers in the greater Denver area, so I thought I’d spend some time telling you a little bit more about what makes my business uniquely me!
I have shot over 325 family, senior, and headshot sessions; as well as events and weddings/elopements, over eight years in business here in the Denver area.
I'm about making sessions relaxed and fun so clients enjoy the process - and are not excessively focused on the outcome. I had one client tell me that they had so much fun during their session that they forgot to worry about how the photos were going to come out? If there's one thing I can guarantee, it's if you have good memories of your session, it will be reflected in your photos, and you will love them!
I want to document the "real"...staying true to who you are as an individual, couple or family; and staying true to the scenery we are working with. So, if your toddler is going through a grumpy stretch in life, we're going to make the best of documenting it, and I won't be photoshopping any smiles on his/her face! And if it wasn't snowing at your session, I won't be creating snow in your photos. I also won't be altering your already cute body type to make it fit an image that we see in popular media, because it's not truly who "you" are; and that's not who I am. In other words, you will never see any "excessive editing" from me.
I value long term connections and want to document your family's and extended family's
milestones. So, in a two-year span, I may do family photos for you, then the following year when your kid is a high school senior I'd do senior photos for him/her and then later that summer, photograph your parents 50th wedding anniversary celebration. This is a win/win for everyone because we have a rapport now, as we are all comfy with each other and it's like seeing an old friend and catching up over a few hours.
I love all kinds of diversity, in age, in culture, in religion, as that's how we not only learn about others, but how we realize the many shared experiences we actually have in common.
Finally, I want the memories we create together to end up on your walls, and in books on your coffee table rather than trapped on your desktops, laptops and devices, never to be seen again. You have invested a ton of time and effort planning your session, money on outfits and session fees; so the artwork we create deserves to be on your walls for you to enjoy, for your children to look at with pride, and for your friends and family to "ooo and ahhh" over them when they come to visit. So please plan on reserving at least 2-3 hours after you receive the link to view your digital proofs and select your digital or print purchases within 2 weeks. I am always happy to help you make selections.
